Brian has over 25 years of IT and 10 years of senior leadership experience with Fortune 500, finance, non-profit, legal, PR, startups and technology organizations around the globe. For Akrete, he has developed enterprise IT systems and created a cloud infrastructure to support the business and team members throughout the world.
Brian is a regular contributor at Forbes writing about business technologies and risk mitigation. He’s also an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University teaching courses in the College of Computing and Digital Media covering cybersecurity, information assurance, operational management, and the legal, ethical, and social issues in information security. He provides thought leadership with various clients, speaks at industry events, and designs and implements online branding technologies.
Brian’s extensive leadership and technical background allows him to specify and validate technology solutions and negotiate with vendors. He has experience overseeing complex environments with tens of thousands of people across thousands of systems, and has built productive and loyal teams.
Brian earned a Master of Arts in Whole Systems Design & Systems Theory from Antioch University in Seattle, WA and a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University.
