
Patricia is a 28-year veteran of public relations, marketing and advertising. She focuses on brand awareness and helping clients increase their visibility in the marketplace. She creates value by positioning clients as experts in their field and specializes in building long-lasting relationships with editors and reporters, allowing clients to be considered as “go to” sources. Since joining Akrete in 2012, she has focused on increasing brand visibility for clients in commercial real estate, finance, technology, hospitality, associations and economic development.
Patricia began her career in advertising before moving into B2B public relations. She found a niche in commercial real estate and began developing full-service campaigns for clients that included public relations, marketing and advertising. With a deep experience working with companies serving and creating the built environment, Patricia now specializes in media relations and connecting executives with editors and reporters at major media outlets. Her advertising background is an asset in negotiating paid opportunities and leveraging campaigns.
Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University. She is the mom of twin boys and has contributed stories to publications focusing on twins. When not pitching media, she can be found working on a volunteer project at her boys’ school or voicing animated characters through her voice acting work.
