Donna was the financial services practice leader for a New York City communications firm prior to becoming a freelance media relations pro for Akrete. Throughout her 20-year career, she has helped clients develop internal and external communications strategies, strengthen crisis communications plans and build brand awareness. Currently Donna works with several Akrete clients, including Steelcase, for which she has recently secured segments on Bloomberg, Fox Business, Cheddar and Yahoo Finance.
Donna specializes in securing national media placements for investment banks, asset management firms, private equity, retail and commercial banking clients. As a trusted public relations partner, she has served as a spokesperson, managed crisis communications, helped rebrand clients and media trained C-suite executives.
Donna earned a degree in English literature and communications from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Mother of two, she finds herself in constant search of coffee and sleep. When she’s not at the soccer field or hockey rink cheering on her kids, she loves to run, read historical WWII fiction, and watch reruns of The Office. She is currently patiently counting down to a new season of Cobra Kai.
