Abby joined Akrete in 2022 as a senior content strategist and messaging specialist. She has owned her own PR and marketing firm, advised boards and leadership teams on content strategy and messaging, and led internal communications and change management programs for one of the country’s major accounting and consulting firms.
With a specialty in B2B programs for professional services and finance, Abby gets most excited about programs where she gets inside a company’s culture and purpose and business goals to bring them to life. She offers clients her candid counsel, intuitive and proven communications guidance, and insights that lead to clear decisions.
Abby’s a strategic and analytical thinker with a track record of working collaboratively with senior corporate executives and business leaders to create campaigns that drive engagement and change. She’s advised a wide range of organizations including PwC, Ameriprise Financial, MetLife, KeyCorp, Deloitte, PwC, Towers Perrin, RTKL Architects, RHR International, Maritz Corporation, Manning & Napier, Victory Capital Management and NY Life Investments Management.
Abby graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Brown University with a dual major in Anthropology and Semiotics—the study of how humans make meaning. She moved from NYC to Needham, Massachusetts in 2015 and is happiest at home with her husband and three teenagers having dance parties in the kitchen or reading at the beach in Little Compton, Rhode Island.
